Future Profession: Anything he wants to be
Gillette Children’s Specialty Healthcare tells the story of our commitment and expertise in caring for children who have disabilities. Wes Jackson, 8, is from St. Paul. Wes has cerebral palsy and he’s been receiving care at Gillette for nearly all of his life. He’s faced challenges, but he’s done all of it with a smile on his face and an irrepressible capacity for joy, hope and resilience. Thanks to his determination and his medical providers at Gillette, Wes’ future will be whatever he decides it to be.
Daily progress is all that matters
Business is good when it’s good for Minnesotans like Wes Jackson, a young man from St. Paul who has cerebral palsy. Thanks to his own determination and the medical care he’s received at Gillette Children’s Specialty Healthcare, his future looks bright. Wes may never play professional baseball, but when he met his hero and fellow St. Paul native, Joe Mauer, at home plate at Target Field in 2018, it was clear who everyone was on their feet clapping for. Wes walked off the field to rapturous applause, feeling like the hero he actually is.
You can find good anywhere in the world, but it’s made in Minnesota.
